The VS unit comes standard with an insect screen and a window hook. The hook is used in applications where the unit is being manually operated in "out-of-reach" applications. Control rods, handles, and other accessories can be purchased through a local dealer. If the hook is not used, the hexagonal adapter that is with the hook should still be saved. This adapter serves as the link between the window operator and either the handle or the hook.
